1st Corinthians

As disciples of Christ, one of the greatest foes we face is worldliness. Our flesh loves the world and all it offers, our spirit loves God and all He offers, and we often find ourselves stuck right in the middle. We have to choose one or the other—we can't choose both. The Christians in Corinth tried to choose both by attempting to live the Christian life in a worldly way. The Apostle Paul wrote the letter of 1 Corinthians to a divided and self-centered people to remind them to follow Jesus and only Jesus.

In this six-week series, we'll learn from author and speaker Jennie Allen, as she takes us through Paul’s words to the conflicted church. We'll see how the truth of the gospel and the Spirit of God can empower us to choose to follow Jesus every day of our lives.

So join us as we dig into 1 Corinthians this February and March in Echo's Growth Groups!
